CARROLLS

Carroll is Big Mama's maiden name. J.C. Carroll or John Carroll is listed as her father in multiple records. I started with Ancestry.com because it has the largest database of DNA matches. Excel is the platform I chose to build a database of my DNA matches. I researched the available trees of each match on the list. In many cases, I build out their trees. The fuchsia highlights are my recognized family members. My DNA matches are listed as the highest to lowest centimorgans. The list includes their Ancestor with the last name Carroll, locations where the person lived, the date of birth, the location of birth, and a space to list relatives and notes. This process did not happen overnight. It took weeks to research their trees and build my notes. Elmira Rose Carroll, Sylvia Jane Carroll, William Hare Carroll, John Carroll, and Jane Gilmer came up consistently.
